What do you want your motherhood legacy to be?

Do you want to be so busy that you don’t have time to stop and play?

Do you want to have the cleanest house?

Or, do you want to be the fun mom — the one who gets in the pool, climbs the tree or plays video games?

Do you even know?

Taking time to BE the mother we want to be takes effort. Thought. Intention.

And ALL of that requires you to slow down and carve out some blissful quiet time for yourself.

Oh yes … I said quiet time for mom. 🙂

I don’t know any mother that doesn’t appreciate a few minutes of quiet to let her thoughts flow freely without interruption.

Finding quiet time in our busy lives is SO hard. So elusive. There’s just so much to do, so much to tend to, so many people who need nurtured.

In fact, when we don’t take time to think and let our thoughts wander and go where they want to go … we can easily and quickly end up in the Land of Bitter and Sour.

There’s a reason you desperately need quiet in your life.

We often make time to take a bath or paint our nails, but our hearts and minds need nurtured as well.

Finding time to reflect on you, your motherhood journey and how you want your motherhood journey to unfold is vital to no longer feeling lost in the trenches of motherhood and care taking.

This kind of soulcare lasts much longer than a quick trip the spa or a run.

This kind of Abundant Mama soul-care stays with you all day … all week … all month — and reminds you to stay calm and BE the mom you want to be.

Why make time for reflection?

Reflecting and thinking about the big picture of our lives is a huge part of our Abundant Mama practices — knowing what’s working and what’s not working so that you can be a peaceful, playful and present mom is essential to being stronger and calmer in the hard moments of motherhood and LIFE.

I am known for offering women really deep, introspective questions — to ponder, to journal on, to meditate on — because I am a deep thinking person.

Asking questions and digging deep into who we are as mothers is my superpower — and doing this work is my self-care.

You deserve to explore that vast land of who you are on the inside even more than you should focus on the outside appearances of your weight or clothes or makeup.

In the Abundant Mama Online Program you really get to the heart of the matter of how to tap into being a peaceful, playful and present woman — and mother.

The program takes you into a deeper part of yourself that is the place of healing, nourishment and soulful joy.

So, today, I want to offer you a few questions to really tap into finding your happy place in the right here and right now moments of your life as a mother — our ultimate role in life right now.

So here we go. Grab your pens and your journals.

And if you are struggling to find quiet time to do these questions … check out my FREE Rise and Shine challenge to start a routine that gives you more sleep, more energy and more time for yourself.
