Our December calendar is already filled up. Every day has a dedicated outing, activity or family connection moment.
And none of it is rushed. None of it has to do with spending too much money. None of it will impress our neighbors.
I’m a big believer in doing only what feels good.
In fact, “Live what you love,” is the MantraBand bracelet my husband bought for me this past Valentine’s Day and I wear it faithfully, every single day. Part mantra. Part reminder. Part emblem to spread this message that we must always do what feels right.
This philosophy hasn’t always gotten us very far, financially. But, teaching our girls to follow their hearts and do what feels right is worth every sacrifice we’ve had to make.
Even with less money, it’s still easy to live what you love.
Buy only what stirs your soul and brings a great big smile to your face.
Be friends with only those people who show up and support you in return.
Do only what feels right in your heart.
By choosing to buy and do only what feels oh so right — and knowing what doesn’t — we create more space in our lives for staying awake and living more abundantly.
If you want to truly live what you love, you have to be willing to make sacrifices. You have to be willing to take bold steps. You have to be willing to take leaps of faith.
And it’s all worth it. Every last bit of it.
Speaking of MantraBand, the sweet company spreading happiness by way of bracelets, is giving away another band to one of our readers here. I believe in this company so much I wear two MantraBands every day. I can’t imagine leaving the house without them.
This month’s MantraBand — Live What You Love — will be awarded to one lucky winner who leaves a comment here answering this question: In what way are you living what you love right now? The deadline to win this band will be Friday, Nov. 29 at midnight. A winner will be randomly selected on Saturday and notified by email only. Only those responses with comments that answer the question will be eligible to win.
Keep up with me
:: P. S. I am taking the rest of this week off to spend time being a present, playful and peaceful mama with my daughters who will be out of school all week. When I return on Sunday, I will be making a very BIG and very important announcement you really should not miss.
:: P.S. S. — And, also next week, the first emails in the early bird registration for the next The Abundant Mama Project will go out to inboxes everywhere. You must be on the waiting list to get this offer.
