Refreshing Tips for Memory Keeping for the Modern Mother

Refreshing Tips for Memory Keeping for the Modern Mother

One of my favorite ways to keep track of all the amazing memories we’re making as a little family is through a simple memory jar.

I’ve written about this and talked about it a lot in the past because this way of modern day memory keeping seems simple and easy for our family.

The truth, though, is that I also take a gazillion photos of my children and have for all of their 12 years on this planet.

And I then commence to do very little with those photos.

I know I am not alone.

Overwhelm is a real issue for many women when it comes to memory keeping.

Part of our journeys as Abundant Mamas is truly about making memories — and living a full life as mothers.

As Abundant Mamas, we’re not trying to live on the sidelines — we’re in the game. We’re playing. We’re doing the things we love. And we’re making family connection a priority.

And yet many women feel guilt for not tracking all that goodness.

My guest this week on The Abundant Mama Show gives us a whole new perspective on modern day memory keeping. Jennifer Wilson of Simple Scrapper keeps it real and doable.

And she even makes me want to get out my photos and DO something with them.

You’ll LOVE her exercise on finding your new identity as a mother, too. It’s amazing. And I can’t wait to share this exercise in our Abundant Mama alumni program so they can discuss how they’ve changed as women since becoming mothers.
